Hello everyone! John Taylor aka Johnny T here. Thank you for stopping by to check out my blog today. I hope you are enjoying your time here today and finding plenty of content for your reading pleasure. Allow me to take a little bit of your time to tell you more about myself.
I'm a dating and relationship enthusiast. I write about all things love, affair married dating, and relationships, and I hope you'll check out my blog and find some useful information!
I was born in raised in Lexington, South Carolina, just outside the capital city of Columbia. My love of writing began to develop during my tumultuous teen years in high school. Life was confusing, often frustrating. As someone who started living with depression around this time, writing and music both became a major outlet for me. From there, my passion for writing was carried on to my first blog “The DaddyYo Blog” and this blog, formerly known as “The DaddyYo Dude”. As time has changed and circumstances in life have changed me, I have floated away from the niche of being a specific kind of blogger, and now I’m here just writing as I am. Unfiltered, the way I see and think things in my head.
In January of 2005 I met my wife in a Yahoo chat room. 3 months later, I would leave my home of 22 years for a place I had never even seen on a map to be with her. We have been through every kind of up and down you can imagine, and still today, we continue to grow closer and stronger. We were married in 2006, just a year after I moved to the mountains of southwest Virginia.
I am also the proud stay-at-home-dad to Little Dude (7) and Little Girl (5). These kiddos are the light of my life. Fiercely independent, opinionated, big-hearted, and hard headed. They are the source of much laughter and gray goatee hairs. Neither one of our children were planned when we had them, but they couldn’t have come along at more perfect times in our lives. Little Dude came to us in 2007 and 2 years and 6 days later, we ushered Little Girl into the world. I know it sounds very cliche for me to say this, but I’m going to anyway. These rascals are the coolest, most adorable kids in the world… When they aren’t being mischievous that is!
Most recently added to the list of self-descriptions, is cancer survivor. In September of 2012 I was diagnosed with Stage III Testicular Cancer. By the time I finally decided to see a doctor and the cancer was detected, it had spread to my lymph nodes, abdomen, and lungs. After 3 surgeries, 4 cycles of BEP chemotherapy, treatment for infections and blood clots, the toughest journey of my life was finished. In February of 2013, I entered remission, and a year later, was determined to be “cancer free”.
I am a passionate writer, and avid lover of the written word. Over the last 4 years I have operated and contributed to numerous blogs, including personal and group blogs. I wear my heart on my dot com.” I often write without filter, and publish, to capture everything as it is to me. I hope you will find my articles reflect life as I see it, hear it, and live it. That what you read is what you would get if you met me in person. I hope you will smile, frown, laugh, cry, or curse me. In either way, I will know that my words have made some impact. Because if they don’t, then why am I here?
Thank you for checking out my little piece of the web. I hope to see you around often!
